It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Leah Flynn age 68 years of Musgrave Harbour. Leah passed peacefully away in her residence at Musgrave Harbour on Saturday, October 5, 2013 surrounded by her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Hubert and Winnie Steele; brother Eugene; and mother and father-in-law Mildred and Kenneth Flynn. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Harold; sons David(Shirley) of Musgrave Harbour, Dean(Jackie Gibbons) of Gander, Denny of Gander and Mark(Jessica Wheaton) of Gander; daughters Dale Abbott(Keith) of Musgrave Harbour and Dana(Tony Tapper) of St. John's; brother James Steele(Sandra) of Musgrave Harbour; sister Laura-Bell(Lolly) Abbott(Dave) of Musgrave Harbour; sisters-in-law Rose Marie Flynn, Jean Goodyear, Blanche Pope and Melba Pardy(Winston) all of Musgrave Harbour; grandchildren Dianna(Blair), Tonya-Lee(Corey), Brittany(Paul), Carly, Amanda, Ashley and Jeremy; great-grandchildren Gracie-May and Kenny; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Musgrave Harbour on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Majors Barry and Donna Anstey officiating. Interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour. In lieu of flowers donations in Leah's memory may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Kidney Foundation.
