Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Nursing Home, St. John's on Saturday, April 16, 2011 Hettie Gill age 93 years of Newtown. Predeceased by her parents George and Catherine Hounsell; husband Thomas Gill; brothers Capt. Fred Hounsell, Capt. Thomas Hounsell, Alexander Hounsell and Herbert Hounsell; sisters Lottie, Emma, Myrtis and Pricilla; sisters-in-law Shirley Gill, Sarah Grace Hounsell, Nellie Noel and Celie Gill; brothers-in-law Weston Gill and George Gill. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her special nephew Chesley Gill(Julia) of Mt. Pearl, their family Blaine of Ottawa; Jodine Kean(Winston) of C.B.S. and Taeler; sister-in-law Irene Gill of St. John's; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Visitation Sunday 10 am to 9 pm; Monday 10 am to 12 noon.
