It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Yvonne Bungay age 54 years of Musgrave Harbour. Predeceased by her son Gavin, parents Max and Florrie Abbott and brother-in-law Oliver Mouland. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her grandson Hunter, special friend Jack Butler, sisters Myrtis Mouland, Maxine(George) Lewis and Madeline (Newman) Willis, brothers Collin (Jacqueline) Abbott and Boyd (Doris) Abbott as well as her nephews and nieces, also Raymond and his family and a large circle of family and friends. Yvonne was born to Max and Florrie Abbott on January 17th, 1964. She lived in Musgrave Harbour all her life...just 54 short years. She is fondly remembered as a daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, mother, grandmother, sales representative at Foodland, Sears and D & M Services. Before her illness took hold of her, Yvonne could cook up a good scoff and whoever was present at those scoffs always left with a full stomach and more. Yvonne loved a good laugh, playing tricks on you was right up her alley. In the last few years she loved spending time at the cabin, especially trouting. Yvonne was great to be around and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour on Thursday, November 8, 7pm - 7:30pm (Family) & 7:30pm - 9pm (Public)

Funeral service for family and close friends will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour on Friday, November 9 at 2 P.M with Majors Collin and Jacqueline Abbott officiating assisted by Captains Tim and Laura Jenkins. Inurnment will follow at the Salvation Army cemetery, Musgrave Harbour. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Family or to...
