It is with great heartache that the family announce the passing of a beloved husband, dad, grandfather and brother; Wilson Edward Coles age 73 years of Carmanville on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander.

Predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth Coles, 6 brothers and 1 sister.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 51 years Hazel (Leyte) Coles; his 5 sons Rodney (Amanda), Randal (Tammy-Lee), Quentin (Kayla), Jamie (Carollynn), Shane (Brittany); his 3 daughters Sheila (Craig), Trina (Elvis), Vanessa (Sheldon) and his greatest treasures 9 grandkids Austin, Mckayla (Robert), Brady, Chloe, Christian, Alexis, Zoey, Sebastian and Zack; 3 brothers Gordon, Lloyd (Donna), Lindsay (Pearl); 2 sisters Janet, Florence and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Wilson loved to joke and go for short car rides that would end up with him being in St. John's. He was an electrician and he loved to pick at cars. He was a man of many trades. He loved being a husband, father, grandfather and friend to many people.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines, visitation and graveside burial service will be by invitation only.

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 9 am - 1 pm with funeral service to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Carmanville officiated by Major William Kean.

Masks are required to be worn at all times.  We appreciate your support at this difficult time, the health and safety of family, general public and staff is very important.
