Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on September 28, 2014, William Parsons age 91 years of Greenspond. Predeceased by his wife Ethel; parents Tobias and Helen Parsons; son-in-law Jim Coward; sisters Olive Crocker and Louise Carter; brothers-in-law Darius Crocker and Lockyer Carter. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Roger (Janet) of Mt. Pearl; daughters Linda Coward of Greenspond; Susan (Gordon Granter) of Greenspond; brother-in-law George Boone (Adora) of Strathroy, ON.; 8 grandchildren Angie(Steve), Amanda(Iain), Alissa, Bradley(Megan), Kimberly(Kevin), Ronnie(Carla), Tammy(David), Roger; 8 great-grandchildren Shania, Kierra, Dawson, Gavin, Adam, Kimberly, Hayley, Hope; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Greenspond with visitation starting at 2 pm on Monday, September 29, 2014. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Cindy Graham officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Shambler's Cove, Greenspond. As an expression of sympathy donations in William's memory may be made to St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Greenspond.
