It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at his residence on Saturday, November 4, 2023 Wilfred Stokes age 88 years of Deadman's Bay.

Predeceased by his wife Josephine Stokes; parents Elizabeth and Herbert Stokes; brother Clyde Stokes; sister Tryphena Melindy; grandson Paul Michael Stokes.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter Karen Freeman; sons Paul Stokes (Karen) and Ivan Stokes (Brenda); grandchildren Michael Freeman, Kimberly Freeman, Keith Stokes, Shane Stokes and Michelle Stokes; great - grandchildren Riley, Aurora, Thomas and Dakota; brothers Jesse Stokes and Gordon Stokes (Victoria); sister Olive Stokes; and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

At Wilfred's request cremation will take place.

A service of remembrance and celebration will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Inurnment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Deadman's Bay.
