It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Saturday, November 10, 2018 Violet Jean Guy, nee Gillingham,  age 87 years of Musgrave Harbour. Pre-deceased by husband Howard, parents Jabez and Jessie, brothers Walter and Stewart.

Left to mourn with wonderful memories are sons Morley(Jean), Wilson(Myrtis), grandsons Paul(Sharlene), David(Amanda), Matthew(Patricia), great-grandchildren Spencer, Lucas, Jack and Jessica, plus many cousins.

Violet was always known for having a warm heart and kind smile.  Well-read and sharp as a tack, she could recite words of verse, write poetry, and assemble jigsaw puzzles with speed.  Trying to beat her while answering jeopardy questions at home was nearly impossible.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 13, at 2 P.M. at St. Luke's United Church, Musgrave Harbour with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Luke's United Church Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour. As an expression of sympathy flowers are greatly accepted or donations may be made in Violet's memory to St. Luke's United Church, Musgrave Harbour.
