Violet May Bungay-Heys

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Violet May Bungay-Heys on Friday September 18, 2026.

Violet passed away at home in St. Catharines, Ontario surrounded by her family.

Violet is predeceased by loving husband of 60 years, Hubert Theodore Bungay "Ted".

Loving mother to Cheryl Bungay-Olsen and Julie Bungay.

Mother in law to Glenn Olsen. Loving grandmother to Melissa Pear, John Pear, Mathew Olsen and Heather Olsen.

Great grandmother to Dawson, Alex and Ashlyn.

Loving sister to Marion Brown

Sister in law to Andy Incorvaja

Aunt to many nieces and nephews

Violet is predeceased by her parents Francis William Heys and Kathleen Kirkham Heys; her brothers Donny Heys, Allan Heys, her sisters Kathy Beniot and Frances Incorvaja, and her sister in law Shirley Heys, and brother in law Allan Brown.

She will be deeply missed by all

Cremation has taken place with inurnment at St. Alban's Anglican Church Cemetery, Trinity, NL to be held at a later date
