Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Friday, November 7, 2014 Violet May Brown age 84 years of Centreville.
Predeceased by her parents Annie and Eldon Pickett; husband Roland; sisters Bernice, Clara Anne, Ariana, Margaret, Kathleen and Audrey; brothers Percy, Ephraim and James; son-in-law Lloyd Butt. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Roland(Linda) of Centreville and Victor of Scarborough, ON.; daughters Edna Lomertin(Walter) of Orland, ON., Bernice Pollett(Joseph) of Centreville and Delilah Butt(Iain) of Bowmanville, ON.; brothers Matthias(Eliza Jane) of Centreville, Lindsay(Linda) of Centreville and David(Eileen) of Centreville; grandchildren Jenny, Valerie, Kevin, Paul, Janice, Dion, Nichole, Lloyd and Angela; 12 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Resting at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville from where the funeral will take place on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tim Graham officiating. Interment to follow at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Centreville. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in Violet's memory may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or the ACW Centreville.
Visitation beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014.
