Vera Pond   
   March 20, 1945 - April 25, 2026   

   It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vera Florence       Pond (nee Wicks) of St. John's (formerly of Centreville).   

   Vera was born on March 20, 1945 to Cator and Mary Wicks of Wareham. She       married Jack Pond and was blessed with two boys - Micheal and Morgan.       Vera's deep devotion to her family and friends shone through in all her       actions.   

   Vera is predeceased by her husband: Jack; son: Micheal; parents: Cator and       Mary Wicks; sisters: Annie, (Gideon), Edith (Jim), Mildred (Harry), and       Gertrude (Bill).   

   Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son: Morgan       (Miranda); grandchildren: Noah (Claire) and Bella (Jack); brother: Jack       (Florence) and a large circle of close relatives and friends.   

   Visitation will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.   

   Funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 2 P.M. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville with Rev. Maxine Abbott officiating. Interment will  follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Centreville       .
