It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Thursday, November 7, 2024 Triffie Humphries age 87 years of Brookfield.

Predeceased by her parents Alma and Charles Blackwood; husband Walter Humphries; Son Charlie Humphries; brothers Leonard Blackwood and Norman Blackwood.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son John (Mildred) of Gander; daughters Cheryl (Stewart) of Halifax, Danette (Edward) Pool's Island, Diane (Leonard) of Spaniard's Bay and Angela (Eugene) of Pool's Island; daughter in-law Michelle of Brookfield; brother Gerald of Gander; sisters Anita (Melvin) of St. John's, Amelia of C.B.S. and Gloria of St. John's; 11 grandchildren; 17 great - grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

At Triffie's request cremation has take place.

Funeral service will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Wednesday, July 9, 2025  at 2 P.M. with Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent- Bungay officiating.

As an expression of sympathy donations in Triffie's memory may be made to the Humphries family and they will make a donation to The Cerebral Palsy Association.
