It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Harbour Breton, Tony James Stokes age 57 years of Cape Freels .Predeceased by parents; Aubrey and Lillian (Vincent) Stokes, father and mother-in-law; Ammon and Greta Stagg, brothers-in-law; Winston Hunt and Jesse Stagg. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Cassie of 38 loving years, daughters; Sheila Starkes (Kevin) of Cape Freels, Crystal Burry (Craig) of Badger's Quay, brothers; Boyce of Cape Freels, Ronald (Bonnitta) of Cape Freels, sisters; Arlene of Trinity, Maxine (Arthur Crocker) of Pool's Island, grandchildren; Sarah, Shawn, Luke, Landon and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2 P.M. at Trinity United Church, Newtown with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment will follow at The Cape Freels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Tony's memory may be made to the Stokes Family who will decide on monetary disbursements.
