It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Thomas Cecil Bragg age 81 years of Greenspond.

On June 10th, Lighthouse Keeper, Thomas C. Bragg, officially turned out the light. His light will, however, shine on through his children, Randy, Bruce, Darlene and Denise. Tom spoke with great pride of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His final conversation was of his family and how fortunate he was to have lived to see their achievements.

We know that Tom will be remembered and bring a belly laugh to all that knew him. His quick wit, unfiltered opinion and ability to capture an audience with his storytelling will be fondly remembered.

A celebration of life for Tom will take place in Greenspond, in late July or early August.

"To be a lighthouse keeper, you must be strong enough to resist every kind of storm, to every kind of loneliness and you must have a powerful light inside you!"

Thomas is predeceased by his wife, Frances, brothers, Stewart (Amelia) and Michael and nephew, Derrick Bragg.

Holding great memories and carrying the light of Thomas's spirit are sons, Randy (Susan) and Bruce (Bonnie), daughters, Darlene (Dave) and Denise (Paul), grandchildren, Nicholas (Kelsey), Andrew (Katie), Mark (Paige), Nathan, Benjamen (Gabby), Abby (Luke), Alexa (Josh) and Mackenzie (Joey), great grandchildren, Riley, Cameron, Kenny, Jackson, Oakley, Noah Thomas and Piper, sisters, Verna (Don), Doris and Alice, sister-in-law, Gloria Bragg, friend and companion, Loretta and her daughters, Marlene and Kathleen (Peter).

As an expression of sympathy and in his memory, donations may be made to The Bragg Family, who will decide on monetary disbursements at a later date.
