It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Syretha Blanche Hicks, age 81 years of Musgrave Harbour.

Syretha was one of a kind, loved telling stories and always up for a laugh. Everybody was welcomed in her home and she wouldn't let you leave without having something to eat and then she would want to give you something to take home with you as well. She loved her church and was a strong pillar and she would share her faith whenever possible. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Predeceased by Husband; Tommy, Daughter; Debbie, Parents; Dalton and Mamie Abbott and Brothers; Larry & Enos.
Leaving to mourn are her children;Irving(Jennifer), Dianne, Brad((Tammy), Theresa(Bradley) and Anita,
Grandchildren; Ashley(Matt) Whitting, Rhyan(Jenn) Abbott, Ashton Pelley, Addison Pelley, Nora Hicks,
Great grandchildren; Micah, Jaxon, Eli, Felicity, Tahlia & Valerie.
Sisters; Shirley (Clarence) Jones, Joan(Leo) Goodyear, Gloria(Hedley) Guy ,
Sister-in-law; Ruby Abbott and  also a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2pm at Zion Pentecostal Church, Musgrave Harbour with Pastor Henry Sansome officiating. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal cemetery, Musgrave Harbour.

Funeral service will be in accordance with Covid-19 recommendations and guidelines.
