It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Friday, October 3, 2025, Mrs. Susie Isabelle Hicks of Musgrave Harbour in her 91st year.

Predeceased by her parents Gwendolyn Mouland & Mark Flynn, husband William Hicks(Willie), and son David Hicks.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her two sons Curtis Hicks(Peggy) and John Hicks, daughter Brenda Wheaton(Byron) all of Musgrave Harbour, sister Laura Way of Gander, sister in law Annie Mouland, 8 grandchildren Derek Hicks, Nadine Hicks, Velma Hicks, Tim Tulk(Chelsea), Stephen Tulk(Jodi), Shawn Tulk(Courtney), Deanne McDonnell(Donny), Darlene Day(Clinton), 16 great grandchildren. Also, a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour

Sunday (Family Only) 7pm - 9pm

Monday (Public) 2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 9pm

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 2pm at the Salvation Army Citadel, Musgrave Harbour with Major Hedley Bungay officiating. Interment will follow from the Salvation Army cemetery, Musgrave Harbour.

As an expression of sympathy and in her memory, flowers are gratefully accepted.
