It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Friday, June 23, 2023 Susanna Beatrice Carter age 90 years of Greenspond.

Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Frances Hoddinott; husband Wilfred; son Rodger; and sister Louise Wheeler (Randolph).

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Tony (Christine) of Greenspond, Dennis (Cynthia) of Mt. Pearl and Jeff (Lorna) of Badger's Quay; daughters Dale (Arthur Jerrett) of Greenspond, Jackie (Lloyd George) of Whiteway, Sheila of Greenspond and Joy (Peter Barfoot) St. John's; daughter in-law Effie Carter of Pool's Island; sister Cinderella (Stewart Button) of Mt. Pearl; 12 garndchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Saturday, June 24th from 3 - 4 pm (Family) & 7 - 9 pm (Public); Sunday, June 25th from 2 - 4 pm (Public), 7 - 8 pm (Public) & 8 -9 pm (Family).

Funeral service will take place at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Greenspond on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11 am with Rev. Daphne Parsons  officiating. Interment to follow at The Interfaith Cemetery, Shambler's Cove, Greenspond.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Susanna's memory may be made to The Interfaith Cemetery Fund, Greenspond.
