Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Friday, December 16, 2016 Stewart Charles Best age 85 years of Wesleyville.

Predeceased by his parents Eva and Joseph Best; wife Neta; sister June Hounsell; brothers-in-law Lloyd Hounsell and Gordon Miller. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sons Derrick(Patsy) of Wesleyville and Andy(Cynthia) of Wesleyville; daughter Michelle Keats of Wesleyville; brothers Joseph(Violet) of Wesleyville and Beaton(Muriel) of Wesleyville; sisters Maxine Miller of Red Harbour and Melina Humphries(Lloyd) of Valleyfield; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove from where the funeral will take place on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Inurnment to follow at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Stewart's memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House, St. John's or Daffodil Place, St. John's.
