It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at the Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Friday, September 30, 2016 Shirley Alfreda Howell age 71 years of Deadman's Bay. Predeceased by her parents Edwin and Carrie Chaulk; brother Ralph Chaulk; mother and father-in-law George and Josephine Howell; sisters-in-law Eleanor Hunt, Marjorie Winters and Olive Winters. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 50 years, Charlie Howell; son Brian of Ajax, ON.; daughter Bonnie Foss(Paul) and the pride of her life, grandsons Khristian and Jonathan Foss all of Labrador City; and a very large circle of family and dear friends. Resting at St. Andrew's United Church, Deadman's Bay from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church cemetery, Deadman's Bay. As an expression of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Howell Family. No flowers by request.
