It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Thursday , January 11, 2024 at Orams Bethesda Manor, Gander, NL, Shirley Goulding age 74 years .

She was a soldier of the Salvation Army and a loving wife to her husband of 23 years. Left to mourn Gordon Goulding, also a soldier of the Salvation Army.

She was predeceased by her first husband of 28 years John Harvey, whom she had two children with. Left to mourn Colette Winter (Carl) and their children Candace Miller (Paul and son Brandon), Chilo Winter, Chad Winter (Jodi). Corey Harvey (Cherie), and their son Jacob.

From her marriage to Gordon Goulding, she was predeceased by her stepdaughter Linda Boland. Also left to mourn are her stepchildren Melvin Goulding (Doris), Gerald Goulding (Pauline), Howard Goulding (Shirley), and Lisa Goulding-Jeffrey (Roy), along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Shirley was known by the community of Wesleyville from working in the Post Office for many years and living her life as a devoted Salvation Army Soldier. She joined the Gambo Salvation Army Core once marrying Gordon and moving to Gambo.

She loved living in Gambo with Gordon while spending winters in Florida. They loved spending their summer weekends in Wesleyville.

Shirley has lived an unwavering life as a child of God.

Saturday, 2pm - 4pm (Family Only) & 7pm - 9pm (Public)

Sunday, 2pm - 4pm (Public) & 7pm - 9pm (Family)

Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11am at The Salvation Army Citadel, Wesleyville with Majors Lorne and Ella Hiscock officiating. Interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Wesleyville.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Shirley's memory to The Salvation Army.
