It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Friday, September 18, 2026 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Shirley Goodyear age 73 years of Musgrave Harbour.

Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Bernice Rogers, sister-in-law Sharon Rogers and brothers-in-law Randy Mouland and Michael Collins.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 45 years; John, sons; Mark (Lorie) of Musgrave Harbour and Andrew (Candice) of Paradise, brother; Roy of Musgrave Harbour, sisters; Phyllis Collins of Torbay, Judy Weigert (Mike) of Hamilton, Ontario and Michelle O'Brien of Musgrave Harbour, grandchildren; Twila Goodyear, Xander Goodyear and Dexter Goodyear and a large circle of other family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place.

A celebration of life will take place at later date.
