It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Monday, May 30, 2022 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's NL

Shirley Andrews age 89 years of Newtown.

Predeceased by her husband Walter; parents John and Beatrice Elliott; brothers Howard and George; parents-in law Noah and Emma Andrews; son-in law Edward (Ted) Howse.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Peter (Vanessa) of St. John's; daughters Marilyn of Middle Sackville, NS., Beverly (Wallace) of Mt. Pearl, NL., Judy (Harry) of Grand Prairie, AB., Valerie (Glen) of Musgrave Harbour, NL., and Pamela (Carson) of Middle Sackville, NS.; grandchildren Duane, Christopher, Jamie, Krista, David, Bradley, Angela, Wayne, Andrew, Trevor, Stephanie, Jennifer, Matthew, Ella and Beth; great-grandchildren Abbey, Avery, Lucas, Caroline, Grace, Layne, Taylor, Hayley, Ryan, Lucas, Emily, Maddox, Shane, Keegan, Kenzie, Cayden, Berkley, Avery, Olivia, Camryn, Ryker, Anna, Max and Eva; sisters-in law Mildred Hillier, Carrie Elliott, Robin Andrews and Edna Kroone; brother-in law Joe Tiller; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1 P.M. - 2 P.M. (Family Only)

2 P.M. - 4 P.M. (Public) 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Saturday, June 4, 2022  at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. and  7 P.M.  -  8 P.M.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Trinity United Church, Newtown with Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent-Bungay officiating. Inurnment will follow at Trinity United Church Cemetery, Newtown.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to Trinity United Church Memorial Fund, Newtown or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
