It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at home in Trinity, Sheila Doreen Collins age 59 year.

Sheila was predeceased by her parents; George and Daphne (nee Brown) Cutler.

Leaving to mourn with beautiful memories are her husband; Paul, sons; Bradley (Sarah) of Mount Pearl and Daniel of Labrador City, brothers; Andy (Penny) of Trinity, Michael (Pam) of Trinity, sister; Sharon Pickett (Guy) of Wabush, parents-in-law; Seymour and Beatrice Collins of Hare Bay, brother-in-law; Todd of Hare Bay and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Sheila thrived around people, whether it was family and friends or people she just met.

Growing up with her new family, she would sit down on the couch while her sons would play video games on the floor with a guidebook in her hands. Sheila loved gardening, one of her favorite past times. When the snow was gone, she would be starting her garden whether it be maintenance or adding new things, and the trowel did not go down until it was too cold to kneel anymore. She loved the outdoors, whether it was picking berries, going camping in the summer or going out for boat rides to the cabin back home. Later in life she discovered running, this was a passion fueled with some of her closest fitness friends. Sheila had achieved many milestones during her time running, from Cape to Cabot to the Tely 10, she was not afraid of a challenge.

Sheila was always the life of a party and would light up any room she entered. Between work, family and friends, she always had someone out there asking how she was or when she'd be back. The love and care she provided to everyone will be kept alive through them.

In keeping with Sheila's wishes, Cremation will take place.

Visitation will take place at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Friday, May 16, 2025  10 A.M - 12 P.M.

Funeral Service will follow at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Maxine Abbott officiating.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to The Collins family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
