It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, Seymour Parsons age 80 years of Indian Bay, NL

Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Florence Parsons; spouse Margaret; sisters Amelia Bolt (Frank) and Rosanne Hawco.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sisters Hilda Breen (Tom), Esther Alexander, Pearl Hunt and Geraldine Rogers (Cliff); brother Ben Parsons (Barbara); brother in-law Michael Hawco; step children Cavelle March (Carl), Andrea Gibbons (Warrick), Ian Parsons and Kevin Parsons (Koran); and a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In his younger years, Seymour worked on fishing draggers off the Grand Bank. Later in life, he worked in construction on projects in Alberta, Ontario and his home province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Seymour loved spending time with his wife Margaret, solving word search puzzles and playing bingo, which brought them many hours of joy and happiness. His kind heart and smile will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Resting at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Indian Bay with visitation on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Friday, July 4, 2024 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. - & 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. and Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11 A.M. - 1 P.M.

Funeral service will take place at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Indian Bay on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Maxine Abbott officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Indian Bay, NL

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Seymour's memory to The Parsons Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
