It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Scott Douglas Whalen age 71 years of Carmanville South.  Predeceased by his parents John and Susanna Whalen; brother Frank and sister Ruth Bemister. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Vivian; daughter Lisa Tulk(Shawn) of Stoneville; sons Kirby(Vicki) of Carmanville and Jordan(Carrie) of Maccan, N.S.; grandchildren Alicia Whalen, C.J. Tulk, Jansen Whalen, Savannah Whalen and Bentley Whalen; brother Ralph(Effie) of Carmanville; sister-in-law Maisie Whalen of Carmanville; brother-in-law Harris Bemister of P.E.I.; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at The Salvation Army Citadel Carmanville starting at 12:00 pm Thursday from where his funeral will take place on Friday October 12th at 2:00 pm, with Captains Tim & Laura Jenkins officiating.  Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery Carmanville South.  As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
