Sarah Gertrude Burton (nee White) age 94 years of Wesleyville passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Friday, April 8, 2022.

Gertrude (Gertie) is pre-deceased by her husband, Cyril Lloyd Burton, her infant daughter Audrey Burton, her parents Garland and Ruth White, brothers Roland (Margaret), Snowden (Cora), Douglas (Barbara), Gordon (Margaret), and sisters Mildred (Edward) and Sadie.
Leaving to mourn with precious memories are daughters Marion (Maurice) Kean, Mildred (Clayton) Spurrell, sons Harold and Lorne, five granddaughters; Beverly (Dennis), Tracy (Ted), Carolyn, Valerie (Ryan), and Danielle, four great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends.

Funeral service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel , New-Wes-Valley on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 2 P.M. with Majors Robert and Cassie Kean officiating. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Wesleyville.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to The Salvation Army Citadel, New-Wes-Valley.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Sunday, April 10 at 1 P.M. - 2 P.M (Family only)

2 P.M. - 4 P.M. (Public)  7 P.M. - 9 P.M. (Public)
