It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beautiful loving mom, a proud grandmother, a daughter, a sister and a dear friend at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL on Wednesday, March 25, 2026; Sandra Granter age 61 years of Greenspond.

She was truly one of a kind; the kind of person who could light up a room just by being in it, with a big personality and a warm caring heart, she was always ready to have a laugh and had a way of making people feel at ease.

Being a mother was her greatest accomplishment and she was so proud of being a grandmother, it meant everything to her. Her grandson was her whole world and she loved him deeply. The love she gave her family will live on.

She had a gentle way about her; the kind that made people feel welcome, comfortable and cared for without even trying. Whether you knew her for a year or you just met her, you would never forget her.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter and the quiet way she brought joy.

She is predeceased by her husband; John Granter,  father;  Barry Knee,  father- in- law; Job Granter and mother- in- law; Myrtle Granter.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories, are her family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her daughter; Jessica Granter, son; Luke Granter and daughter- in- law; Melinda Granter, Nanny's little treasure; Thomas Easton, mother; Beatrice Knee, brother; Lorne (Gloria), sister; April (Robin), brothers- in law; Eugene (Evelyn), Glenn (Edith), William (Patricia) and Gideon (Suzanne), sisters- in -law; Jean and Ada.

Also a very large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, extended families who she loved with all her heart, her supportive friends and amazing co-workers.

She leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories that will never fade.

Forever loved and always remembered.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. with cremation to follow.

Funeral service will be held at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Greenspond, NL on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Shambler's Cove, Greenspond, NL

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Sandra's memory to the Granter family who will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
