It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls - Windsor on Thursday, January 22, 2015 Samuel Goodyear age 73 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Flossie Goodyear; nephew Dwayne Goodyear and brother-in-law Edgar Whalen. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Elizabeth; daughters Sonya(David Conway) of Lewisporte and Shelley(Shawn Fifield) of Pilley's Island; brother Walter Goodyear(Linda) of Lumsden; sister Millie Whalen of Lumsden; grandchildren Ethan Conway, Carter Conway, Bentley Fifield and Bailey Fifield; brothers-in-law Eric Earle(Shirley) of Corner Brook, Clarence Earle(Sandra) of Pasadena and James Earle(Mary) of Corner Brook; sisters-in-law Valetta Smith(James) of Pynn's Brook and Judy McCarthy of Corner Brook; several nieces, nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Wesley United Church, Lumsden with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Samuel's memory may be made to The Goodyear Family.
