It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Thursday, July 13, 2017 Ruth Bemister age 66 years of Musgrave Harbour. Pre-deceased by her parents John and Susan Whalen, brothers Frank, Melvin, Sidney, sisters Ruby and Verna.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Walter Harris, sons Dean of Alberta, Robert(Yvonne) of Trout River, daughter Darlene Abbott(Alec) of Musgrave Harbour, two brothers Scott Whalen(Vivian) of Carmanville, Ralph Whalen(Effie) of Carmanville, sister-in-law Maisie Whalen of Carmanville, four grandchildren Marina(Mitchell), Cassidy, Cheyene and Matthew. Also, a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, July 16th at 2pm from The Salvation Army Citadel in Musgrave Harbour with interment to follow from The Salvation Army Cemetery in Ragged Harbour.
