I t is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Monday, October 27, 2025 at The Health Science Centre, St. John's, NL.

Russell  Wallace Kean

August 8, 1940  -  October 27, 2025

Age 85 years.

Entered into eternal rest surrounded by his beautiful family with his favourite music quietly playing.

Predeceased by parents; John and Luella, brothers; Elden (Jane), Oliver (Gwen), Cluney (Megan) and Samuel, sisters; Dorothy (Baxter) and Madeline, parents-in-law; Margaret and Baxter Hoyles and brother-in-law; Glenn.

Leaving to mourn, his wife of 62 years; Marina, son; Cull (Stephanie), daughters; Collette (Derrick), Yvonne ( special friend Stephen), grandchildren; Crystal (Brad), Mitchell, Dominique (Dylan), Jesse (Leia), Jared (Caitlyn), dear and precious great grandchildren; Evelyn and Maxwell, dearly loved sister; Nellie, numerous very special; nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.

Visitation on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 7 P.M.- 8 P.M. (Immediate family only) Public at 8 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 8 P.M.  A family service will follow at 8 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 2 P.M. at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown with Rev. Renee Easton officiating and Rev. Cindy Graham assisting. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Pound Cove.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or monetary donations may be given to St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Pound Cove where he devoted many hours ensuring it was well maintained and beautified and to The Ray of Hope Association Inc.
