It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, Ruby Wiseman (Nee Whey) age 82 years of Trinity.

Ruby was born at Kerley's Harbour, Trinity Bay. She moved to Trinity, B Bay in 1942. She married Garfield Wiseman October 25, 1954. She was a very loving wife and a devoted mother to nine children. Also, a devoted mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. She was a wonderful friend to many and loved by all.


Predeceased by son Sterling: parents James & Sarah Whey; grandson: Colin; sisters: Elizabeth & Amy; brothers: Charles, Uriah & James. She leaves to mourn her husband, Garfield; daughters: Irene (Tony), Juanita (Larry), Glenda (Lance); sons: John (Phyllis), James (Diane), Phil (Nicole), Gary (Mary), Russell (Cindy); daughter-in-law, Alma; brother: Fred (Abbie); grandchildren: Cindy, Carol Anne, Eugene, Neil, Jessica, James, Sterling, Daniel, Brian, Jordan, Shaylene, Travis, Evan & Abby; great-grandchildren: Haley, Erin, Maebe, Brandan, Emma, Cassidy, & Sidney; great-great grandchildren: Annabella & Aria. Also, a large circle of family and friends.

Visitations will take place at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity with Family visitations beginning on Friday, March 9 at 1:30 - 3 P.M.

Public Visitations will take place on Friday, March 9 at 3 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11 A.M. at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at St. Alban's Anglican Church cemetery, Trinity. In Lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The NL Cancer Society.
