It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Thursday, December 5, 2024 Rose Vincent age 82 years of Newtown, NL.
Predeceased by her mother Sarah (Powell Lush) Green and father Edward Green; sisters Irene Skiffington (Les), Gertie Gill (Jack), Stella Pye and Sadie Tucker (Ed); brothers in-law Harvey Simms and Ben Bungay; great grandson Brooks Henshaw.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Howard; son Neal (Greta) of Paradise; grandchildren Trevor Vincent (Brier) and Rebecca (Kyle); great grandchildren Perri and Maverick Vincent, Rowan, Sutton and Lily Henshaw; sisters Daisy Bungay and Doris Simms (Clem Newbury); brother Bob Green (Mary); brother in-law Ed Pye; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
She was a lover of life, enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be in the woods for a scoff or on the island with family for a boil up and berry picking. She enjoyed a good laugh and a friendly game of cards. She will be greatly missed.
A dear wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend has left the bonds of this earth but her memory will be forever etched in the fabric of our lives.
Wherever a beautiful soul has been
there is a trail of beautiful memories.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 7 - 9 p.m.
Funeral service will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. from Trinity United Church, Newtown with Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent - Bungay officiating. Interment to follow at The United Church cemetery, Newtown.
