It is with great sadness that the family of Rosalind Stokes (Dackers) announce her sudden, but peaceful passing on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, with her loving daughter Kimberley by her side. She was 76 years of age.

Predeceased by her parents Betty and Ernest Dackers, sisters Jackie Elson and Lyn Wall, and son Ernest Stokes.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 55 years Wesley Stokes. Her children Ken Stokes (Cheryl), Todd Stokes, Terry Stokes and Kimberley Downton (Daniel). Her brother Peter Dackers (Mae) and daughter in-law Loretta Stokes. Also her grandchildren who she adored, Andrew Stokes, Cody Stokes, Madison Crocker, Caleb Downton, Avery Stokes, Gabriel Downton and Kensleigh Thorne. She also had some special nieces, nephews and a circle of other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Rosalind's wishes, cremation will take place.

A service of remembrance and celebration for Rosalind will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, New-Wes-Valley on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 2 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations in Rosalind's memory may be made to The Stokes Family.
