Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Center, Brookfield, Ronald Ephriam Tucker age 92 years of Newtown.

Predeceased by his parents John and Elsie; wife Ida; sisters Dora Budgell (Fred), Daphne Andrews (Jack), Qwen Gill (Alfred) and Annie Roebotham; brothers Lewis and Wesley (Jean); brother-in-law Frank Way. leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters Diane Rideout (Harvey) of Newtown and Cathy tiller (David) of Newtown; sister Hazel Way of Otterbury Manor; brothers Maitland (Dorothy) of Barrie, ON., Stanley (Joan) of Newtown, Gordon (Elsie) of Labrador City and Howard (Rose) of Newtown; grandchildren Corey (Dana), Jason (Claralee), Bradley (Sharon), Ronnie (Sammy-Jo) and Davie (Amanda); great-grandchildren Jackson, Brendan, Clark, Obie, Griffin, Max, Ty, Blaise, Nash, Brady and Katelyn; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations; visitation, funeral and burial will be by invitation only.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by the funeral service at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Newtown.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Ronald's memory may be made to Trinity United Church, Newtown.
