It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Center, Brookfield on Thursday, August 26, 2021 Ronald Pickett age 71 years of Centreville.

Predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Lavinia Pickett; son Vernon Pickett; grandson Tyler Walsh; brother Donald Pickett (Daphne); brother-in-law Scott Wicks; and father-in-law Thomas Cutler.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Doris; daughters Sonya (Morgan Sheppard) of Centreville and Rhonda (Stephen Clark) of Sparwood, BC.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren Shauna (Tommy) - Spencer & Alyna and Austin (Ivette) - Avery, Riley & Jenna; brother Ezra (Margaret) of Centreville; sisters Betty Wicks of Toronto, ON. and Daphne (Ike Waterman) of Centreville; mother-in-law Phyllis Cutler; sisters and brothers-in-law Yvonne (Elisha), Eugene (Nita), Jill (Wilson), Ross (Angela), Joyce (Mike), Verna (Ike); and a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

At Ron's request cremation will take place.

A service of celebration and remembrance will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Ron's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Funeral service will be in accordance to COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines.
