It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Roland Eldred Burry age 89 years of Greenspond, NL

Predeceased by his Wife; Sarah, parents; Kenneth and Lucy Maude Burry, son; Derrick Burry, brothers; Malcome Burry, Major Douglas Burry , Brother-in-law; Fred Kelloway and sister-in-law; Edith Burry.

Leaving to mour with fond and loving memories are his sons; Lyndon (Xiaoling) of St. John's, Gregory (Angela) of CBS, daughters; Denise  Hayes (Jerome) of Greenspond, Tracy Ross (Jeremy) of Dartmouth, NS, brother; Eric Burry, sisters; Ellen Filler (Rene) of Gander, Louise Kelloway of Wesleyville, sisters-in-law; Major Lorraine Burry of Ontario, Betty Burry of Gander, grandchildren; Sara, Jalyn, Alexis, Spencer, Lucy, Aimee and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at  1:30 P.M. at The Salvation Army Citadel, New-wes-Valley with Majors Robert and Cassie Kean officiating. Interment will follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Shambler's Cove, Greenspond.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roland's memory to The Burry family; they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.

Public Visitations will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 7:30 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on

Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 2 P.M - 4 P.M.  7 P.M. - 9 P.M.
