It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Thursday, November 21, 2019, Robert Sturge age 70 years of Pound Cove. Predeceased by his infant sister; Ruby, parents; Lester and Elsie Sturge, mother and father-in-law; Norman and Emma Stockley and brother-in-law; Adolphus Stockley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Bernice, sons; Peter (Della) of Mt. Pearl and Paul (Angie) of Paradise, daughter; Jeanie (Noel Sooley) of Goulds, grandchildren; Peter Jr. (Kayla), Emma and Rebecca, brothers; George (Marie) of Mt. Pearl and Andy (Geraldine) of Badger's Quay, sister; Frances (Lloyd Jones) of Mt. Pearl, his special dog Max, special hunting buddy Dawson Hiscock, several nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service will take place on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 2 P.M. at St Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown with Rev. David Cook officiating, assisted by Revs. Cindy and Tim Graham. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Anglican Church cemetery, Pound Cove. As an expression of sympathy and in his memory, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to The Beagle Paws Rescue or to The SPCA.
