Robert (Bob) Kelloway age 76 years passed peacefully away at his home in Wesleyville surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 5, 2025
Predeceased by his son; Kevin, granddaughter; Melissa, parents; Wilfred and Kathleen Kelloway, parents-in-law; Maggie and Ben Glover, brother; Woodrow Kelloway and brother-in-law; Cecil Glover.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife and soul-mate ; Blanche of 56 years, his sons; Bill (Madi) , Sam (Julia), Jason (Jill) and Jamie, grandchildren; Melinda, Kevin, Gavin, Dawson, Kyle, Blake, Skye, Jaxon, Liam and Daniel, great-grandchildren; Hayley and Kegan, his brothers; Bruce of St. John's, Clifford of Edmonton, John (Wanda) of Wesleyville, sister; Susan (Ford) of Edmonton, sister-in-law; Eileen of Wesleyville, brothers-in-law; Robert, Lester (Lynn), Rodney (Tina), Gordon (Wyndee), sisters-in-law; Dorothy, Yvonne, Ida, Viola, Mary, Brenda, Marlene, Tammy , many nieces and nephews who loved and respected him dearly.
Robert (Bob) was a very well known respected man in his community. He was a friend to all and was a helper around town.
He was a volunteer fireman for 52 years, which was his greatest passion. He worked as a truck driver most of his life to support his family. He "loved" to drive and was known to drive across Canada several times.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and a very special uncle and a friend to all.
He was known for his favorite hobby; smelting, trouting and sharing his catch with neighbors and friend.
In keeping with his wishes; Cremation will take place.
Funeral service will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 2 P.M. By Invitation Only.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Kelloway Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements .
