It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Sunday, June 19, 2022 in his sleep at Otterbury Manor, Wesleyville, Robert Ross Brown age 87 years of Badgers Quay.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years Delita (Norris).

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters: May Burry (John) of Georges Brook and Cindy Blackwood (Frank) of Greenspond;  sons:  Dennis (Ruth) of Gander, James (Martha) of Mount Pearl and Jason (Tanya) of New-Wes-Valley;  10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren;  special friends Ken and Joyce and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Ross was born on April 1, 1935 to Ada & Hubert Brown of Badger's Quay.  He was employed with Hedley Brown as a truck driver and later with Baxter Knee, he also was a school bus driver for a number of years, later he worked at Bonnews Lodge until his retirement.  Ross dearly loved his church and his family, especially his grandchildren and geat-grandchildren.  Ross was a great hockey fan and especially loved his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, he enjoyed a game of cribbage and spent many hours working on jig-saw puzzles.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove with visitation on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. (Family only)

2 P.M. - 4 P.M. (Public), 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. (Public).

Funeral service will take place at St. Alban's Anglican Church on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Interment will follow at St. Alban's Anglican Church Cemetery, Badger's Quay.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Ross's memory to St. Alban's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Badger's Quay NL  A0G 1B0.
