It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Wednesday, October 19,2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Richard Clyde Wiseman age 86 years of Trinity, B. Bay, NL.

Predeceased by his parents; Samuel and Florence Wiseman, sisters; Dinnah Wiseman, Hettie Higdon and Wilhelmina Wiseman and brothers; William Wiseman and Gavrock Wiseman. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Nita, sons; Bill Wiseman (Linda Dyke) and Richard Wiseman (Cindy Wiseman), daughters; Madonna Rogers, Wilhelmina Cutler (Samuel Davis), Valerie Hynes (Larry Hynes) and Monica Ackerman (David Ackerman), brothers; Wilfred Wiseman (Wilhelmina), Clayton Wiseman (Violet), Ralph Wiseman (Louise) and Winston Wiseman and sister; Hannah French, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

A man of strong character and presence. A fisherman. A proud Newfoundlander. A man of integrity with a big heart. Tough as nails with tall tales. A family man. A great dancer.

Visitation will take place at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity, beginning on Saturday at 2pm.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 24th, 2022 at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity, Bonavista Bay with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Alban's Anglican Church Cemetery, Trinity.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Richard's memory to The Wiseman Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
