It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, Wallace "Raymond" Welcher age 65 years of Badger's Quay.

Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Ella Welcher; brothers Abe, Claude, Wilson, Samuel and Eric; sisters Trixie, Laura and baby Evelyn; parents in-law Marshall and Letsie Goodyear; brothers in-law Ruben, Colin, Daniel and Heber; sisters in-law Elsie, Betty, Annabelle, Hilda and Dorothy.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Charmaine; brothers Chesley and Solomon Sr. (Elsie); sister Jemima Dooley (Ralph); special niece Debbie Bennett (Garfield); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; sisters in-law Kathleen Welcher, Beulah Welcher, Claudia Welcher, Irene Humphries, Pearl Wakely, Flossie Burton (Job) and Irene Pond; brothers in-law Selby Roebotham, Bill Goodyear (Jeanette) and Norm Wakely; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Saturday, March 30, 2024  from 7 – 9 p.m.; Sunday, March 31, 2024 from 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 – 9 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Inurnment to take place at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Ray's memory may be made to the family.
