It is with great sadness that we mourn the sudden, tragic passing of Penny Button at the age of 57, of Wareham, NL. Left to mourn are her husband Ross; children: Jenissa (Andrew), Michael (Krista) and Hannah (Brandon); her seven grandchildren: Arika, Russ, Brieghton, Greyson, Kolby, Weston and Teagan; parents Claude and Yvonne; siblings Wade (Kerry-Lynn), Paulette (Rodney) and Craig (Ena); her mother-in-law Mae and her beloved puppy Daisy.

While her children were young, she was a stay at home mom before she began working at the local grocery store and gas station. At the age of 43, she went back to college to complete her dream of being a child and youth care worker. She absolutely loved her job as it matched perfectly with her kind and caring personality, eventually leading her into a supervisor role. She had a calmness about her that made everyone feel safe and loved.  She found something positive in every situation and was the most selfless person, always thinking about everyone else.

Her children and grandchildren were her entire world. Everything she did and every choice she made was always with her family in mind. She left so many memories behind that will last forever in the lives of everyone she touched.

Funeral to take place Sunday, October 19 at 2pm at St. John the Baptist Church, Wareham, NL, with a eulogy being read prior to start of service.
