It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Olive May Kean age 98 years 10 months of Wesleyville on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield.

Olive was born in Wesleyville on July 27, 1922 to Nathan and Gertrude Winsor. Later, she met and married the love of her life, James Kean on January 26, 1943.

She is predeceased by her husband James; son Munden; daughter-in-law Christine; her parents and parents-in-law.

Left to mourn with cherished memories are her son Lloyd "
Bud" (Anna Marie); her granddaughters Paula (Dean Clarke), Jillian (Andrew) and Jolene; grandsons James (Michelle) and Jeffery (Stacey); great-grandson Axel; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation for family only will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 2 - 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 2 p.m. from Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove with Rev. L. Daka officiating. Interment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Wesleyville.

All service will be in accordance to COVID-19 government guidelines and recommendations for Level 4.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted.

Behind the horizon is a place where feelings of comfort and joy never cease. Our loved ones go there and the time will come when we are reunited in happiness again.
