It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, Norman Gordon Abbott age 88 years of Musgrave Harbour. Predeceased by his parents Hebert and Violet Abbott; wife Marguerite; and daughter Beatrice. Left with fond and loving memories are his daughters Verna(Ray Melanson) of Gagetown, NB. and Marlene(Thomas) of Gagetown, NB.; grandchildren Jeffrey and Steven; great-grandchildren Jordan, Sydney and Ashlyn; brothers Cyril Abbott(Patsy) of Musgrave Harbour and Raymond Abbott(Betty) of St. John's; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting a Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service to take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Musgrave Harbour on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 3 p.m. with Major Betty-Lou Topping officiating. Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to The Salvation Army, Musgrave Harbour.
