WINSOR, Nerissa Carrie (nee Howell) - Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge in Badger's Quay on Monday, December 7, 2015, Nerissa Carrie Winsor, age 89 years, of Wesleyville.
Predeceased by her husband Percy John Winsor, parents Baxter and Theresa Howell, sisters Vera (Luke) Gaulton and Cecily (Joseph) Blackwood, and brothers Harry (Carrie) Dowding and Hayward Howell (Betty). Leaving to mourn with many treasured memories are her three daughters: Ruby (Gordon) Giles of Norman's Cove, Brenda (Lloyd) Matthews of Badger's Quay, and Pamela (Cluny) Way of Conception Bay South; brother-in-law Jacob (Helena - deceased) Winsor; seven grandchildren: Lisa (David), Lori (Will), Jim (Peggy), Angela (Jason), Kevin (Ashley), Tom (Amy), and Susan (Paul); eight precious great-grandchildren: Liam, Amelia, Ayden, Austin, Sophie, Harrison, Emily and Owen; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends (special friends: Ann Green and Mary Brown).
Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service to take place at Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville on Wednesday, December 9, at 2 P.M. with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Wesleyville. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Nerissa's memory may be made to the Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville.
