It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. St. John's on Friday, December 8, 2023 Nelson Wiseman age 80 years.

Predeceased by his parents Israel John and Beatrice; wife Trixie; sisters Lenora (Zacchaeus) Pond and Frances (Felix) Rogers; brothers Philip Wiseman and Eldred Wiseman; sisters in-law Ruby Wiseman and Audrey Wiseman.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sons Richard of Gander, Bradley (Eileen) of Lincoln, NB., Leon (Kelly) of Labrador City, Nathan of Dover and Matthew (Renita) of Dunville; daughters Tina Duperre (Ghislain) of Labrador City, Vanessa Pardy (Arch) of Goose Bay and Hannah Wiseman of Indian Bay; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Garfield Wiseman of Trinity, Sitnah Wiseman of St. John's and Chesley Wiseman (Marie) of Trinity; sisters Rebecca Rideout (Percy) of Trinity, Wilhelmina Blackwood (Barry) of St. John's and Cindy Cook (Murray) of BC.; sisters in-law Louise Wiseman of Gander and Nancy Wiseman of ON.; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 1 - 2 p.m. (Family), 2 - 4 p.m. (Public) & 7 - 9 p.m. (Public).

Funeral service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lumsden on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1 p.m. with Mr. Grant Gray officiating. Interment to follow at The Cemetery of Jehovah's Witnesses,  Lumsden.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Nelson's memory may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
