It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Miriam Sybil Knee, age 92, on Saturday July 20th, 2024 at Dr. Y.K Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, NL.

Predeceased by her Husband Gilbert, Daughter Nina and precious Granddaughter Marsha.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her 2 Daughters; Kathleen (Don) & Shirley, 2 sons; Jeffery(Florence), Dean(Debbie) & son in law Pearce.
Grandchildren: Cheryl(Angus), Curtis(April), Desmond(Rose), Travis(Angela), Tyler(Kristen), Christina(Conrad), Victoria(Roger) & Courtney(Paul).
Great Grandchildren: Dylan(Robyn), Evan, Brandon, Devin, Dylon, Trinity, Callie, Sierra, Christian, Isaiah, Alise, Abigail, Nathan & Beckett.
Bonus Granddaughter: Samantha(Alex) & Bonus Great-grandchildren: Donna, Maxwell & Alexander and a large circle of family and friends.

Miriam was born in Brookfield on January 20,1932 to Theodore & Beatrice Harvey and was an only child. On April 8th,1955 she married the love of her life Gilbert Knee. They settled in Badger's Quay and she was a stay at home mom to her five Children.
Miriam was a dedicated member of the church, ACW and the Ladies Society of United Fisherman. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking for her family, who especially loved her partridge berry tarts. She also enjoyed playing cards with Gilbert and friends, along with her late night snack and cup of tea. Miriam loved to see family and friends visit, but was always sad to see them go.
Her last years were spent being cared for by her daughter, Shirley, who provided quality care to her when she needed it the most.

Visitation will take place on Monday, July 22, from 7-9pm. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 23 at 2pm, St. Alban's Anglican Church, Badger's Quay. Interment will follow at St. Alban's Anglican Church cemetery, Badger's Quay.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
