It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Dr. Y.K.Jeon Kittiwake Health Care Centre, Brookfield, Minnie Celeste Janes age 90 years of Badger's Quay.

Predeceased by husband; Wilberforce, son; Clyde, parents; Thomas and Mary Hounsell, parents- in-law; William and Francis Janes, sister; Eleanor (Fred Nicholl), brothers; Wilmore, Baden Powell, Llewelyn (Dorothy), Eli, Melvin and Thomas, sisters-in-law; Verna and Sadie (Ray Howell), brothers -in-law; Robert (Shirley) Janes and Eric (Fanny) Janes.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters; Bernice (Andrew) of Badger's Quay, Annette (Garry) of Badger's Quay, daughter-in-law; Caroline of Grand Prairie, brothers; Ellis (Blanche) of Wareham, Solomon of Pound Cove, brother-in-law; Lloyd Janes (Lydia) of Sussex, N.B. sister-in-law; Aggie Hounsell of Nova Scotia, grandchildren; Tammy (Cam) McIvor, Trevor (Judy ) Knee, Patrick (Karah) Plante, Robert (Brandi) Janes, Neil (David) Janes, great grandchildren; Amanda and Aidan McIvor, Aedon Janes, Preston Plante, Logan Sopha, Oliver and Everett Knee and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Tuesday, June 21, 2022  7:30 P.M. - 9 P.M. (Family Only.)

Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M.  and  7 P.M. - 9 P.M. (Public) Thursday , June 23, 2022 at 7 P.M. - 8 P.M. (Public)

Funeral service will take place on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Badger's Quay with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Interment will follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Pool's Island.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Minnie's memory to St. Alban's Anglican Church, Badger's Quay.
