It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Friday, August 2, 2019 Mereida Abbott age 85 years of Musgrave Harbour.

Predeceased by her parents Phoebe and Jesse Abbott; husband Gershon; son Kevin and son-in-law Neil Wheaton.

Left with fond and loving memories are his son Keith (Dale) of Musgrave Harbour; daughters Colleen (Harvey Hicks) of Musgrave Harbour, Joy (Robert Guy) of Musgrave Harbour and Denise Wheaton of Frederickton; daughter-in-law Catherine Blackwood of Musgrave Harbour; grandchildren Jamie, Gregory, Brendan, Luke, B.J., Paul, Christopher, Jennie and Mark; great-grandchildren Syke, Kaylee, Jayden, Brianna, Isabelle, Tristen, Jaylynn, Zander, Ryker, Haley, C.J.,  Tyrese, Dawson, Mariah, Joey and Scarlett; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

At Mereida's request cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour from where her funeral will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 2 p.m. with Captains Tim and Laura Jenkins officiating. Inurnment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Mereida's memory may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society.
