It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Dr. Y.K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, Mereda Sturge age 81 years of Badger's Quay.

She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Eliza Feltham; husband, Samuel Sturge; brother, John Feltham; sisters, Pearl, Bertha, and Vera; and stepson, Cyril Sturge. Mereda leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories a special friend, Wilson Simms; son, George Feltham (Rhoda) of Badger's Quay; stepsons, Heber Sturge of Mount Pearl and Harold Sturge of Toronto; stepdaughter, Breta King (Nat) of Badger's Quay; sister, Clara Stratton of Montreal; grandchildren, Cavelle Howell (Leon), Nadine Curnew (Shane), Steve Feltham (Amanda), Mona Welcher (Dwayne), Wanda King (Darrin), Gerry King (Tammy), Nathalie Collins (Junior), Sherri Lynn Hayward (Tim), Cheryl Dawn Brown (Adam); great-grandchildren, Brandon, Lily, Sam, Katie, Abigal and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 2 .P.M. at Memorial United Church, Valleyfield with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Memorial United Church, Valleyfield.
