It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one  on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, Melinda Marie Vincent age 83 years  of Newtown.

Predeceased by parents; Elijah and Rowena Gillard of Twillingate and sisters; Lucy and Mary Sheppard of Sheppardsville.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband; William Vincent of Newtown, sons; Jim (Penny) of Alberta, Garry (Elizabeth) of Newtown, daughters; Bonnie (Doug) of Ontario, Peggy (Jack) of Wesleyville, Glenda (Philip) of Wesleyville, brother; Calvin (Deanna) of Ontario, sister; Lillian of Bishops Falls, grandchildren; B.J. , Victoria, Alyssa, Michael, Albert, Ashley, Nicholas and Joshua, great grandchildren; Kaylee, Leah, Logan, Christy, Eleanor and a circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 2 P.M. - 6 P.M. by invitation only, according to government COVID guidelines and recommendations.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2 P.M. at Trinity United Church, Newtown with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Newtown.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations  in her memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to The Daffodil Place , St. John's.
